Those are many of the opinions I have on the subject, but playing devil's advocate as I do, I will point out that just because warming has preceded CO2 rise in the past does not necessarily mean that AGW cannot also exist. It could be that temperature has risen naturally, ahead of CO2 levels, and that human activity has compounded the warming at a rate that is detrimental to our health and economy. While I tend not to believe the problem is as gargantuan as doomsday profits would sell you, it is entirely probable that this warming period is different from past warming periods since the human variable is new. When a new variable is introduced to the equation, the results are likely to be different.
Other stuff he alludes to is just whacky. 911 conspiracy, "chemicals" loaded onto commercial jets for nefarious reasons, and worst of all, painting GMOs and fluoride as bad for human consumption.
Everything we eat is a GMO, and has been since agriculture replaced hunting/gathering. When we choose to plant seeds from higher yield crops, we are creating GMOs. Nature is continuously creating GMOs, which is why there is a diversity of life instead of a single type of bacteria. We make GMO people when we exercise preference in physical attributes in a mate.
Fluoride contributes to good oral hygiene, which is a big contributor to overall health. Whatever miniscule detriment it may have on the body is outweighed by the larger benefit. Similar to how free radicals are harmful to cellular DNA, but a necessary byproduct of metabolism. Being alive is the greater good of metabolism compared with the danger of free radicals.
So the guy is kooky, but he's got some good ideas.

I'd say that's an accurate assessment.
What's interesting is his Periscope audience. They feed him stuff and then he has guests like Jordan Sather or Charles Ortel, and others. He follows their lead.
I'm in it for the pacing, delivery, [various] accents and vocabulary. He's like a walking thesaurus. Today there was a brief appearance by Mrs. L.

Reuters says that China is spending 350 million dollars a year on developing molten salt reactor.
China is going to make carbon based power generation obsolete, while the US keeps doing the same thing because people are too afraid of anything nuclear.

Energy is economy. China is poised to leave the rest of us in their dust. Even Bill Gates was relegated to developing his new reactor design in China since no one else was willing to take him. Which means he has to share the rights with them. They will eventually hold all of the licenses to everything important.

Moltex refused to end up there and found a welcome home in Canada. Thorcon will start in Indonesia. But lacking any large government funding, they are both still 8 years away from a full 1GW plant. And sad to say, would have been much quicker to market if they had gone to China.
.
Unfortunately the rampant greenwashing of solar and wind plus batteries has fooled everyone into thinking we can just replace fossil fuels with that but the reality is that the numbers just do not add up.

As of 2014 if you took every solar panel on earth, sent it over to Japan it would only provide 20% of their power, while the sun is up.
We could easily wind and solar power everything, as soon as everyone cuts their current power consumption by 80 to 90%, even after buying an electronic vehicle. That means take your current power consumption, add an electric vehicle and still cut it down to 10% of what it was before getting an electric vehicle. But wait theirs more, you have to use all most all your power while the sun is up.
My only conclusion is these green worshippers don't comprehend numbers.
As if wishing for it hard enough will miracle the impossible into reality.

Exactly. Unfortunately. It's counterproductive. Eventually deadly actually since we are delaying wiser strategies on false hope.

Just think, China builds nearly all of the world's solar panels and they already know they can't depend on solar power for a large portion of power generation.

We have a much bigger problem than Global Warming which is resource depletion and economies crashing in the coming decades due to diminishing per capita energy availability and an unsustainable growth based system of debt servicing.
