I was referring to the post, not the source materials.

My place is one big game of Tower of Hanoi.

I don't understand what you're trying to communicate.
I posted all available data as it appeared in my notes, and in the order that it appeared.
Some presumption of better order than that would imply an expectation of a willingness on my part to provide anything in addition. Which would violate the reality of what I was in possession of in the moment.
There's no such thing as 'order' when presenting data. It's just data.

vBulletin sux at formatting, nested lists should work like this (but I need to do the homework so I hadn't gone this deep as yet):

list

redneck had asked why sea-level wasn't up 100-feet 'now.'
with what I had on hand, I posted what I had, germane to sea-level, and some climate issues never mentioned, which accompanied my data.
There are hundreds of things going on climate-wise. Since I hadn't seen them mentioned, I thought it would expand the knowledge base.
I understand that, in a debate, one must be prepared to argue either side.
Climate denial is a walk in the park compared to climate science.

Don't think I don't understand that. I'm just advocating for judicious use of the and buttons.

No reflection on your information cache. Formatting the post is where the rubber meets the road. Leading *s aren't informative.

1) I going for content, not presentation.
2) I've been using 'bullet' points since around 1990 when I began public discourse. A friend's mother volunteered as secretary, and she introduced them to me, having used them at the geotechnical services company in Houston, where she'd secretary'd for the president.
I'll use numbers if that'll help. That's all I can offer.

  • Bullets are better than leading asterisks.

I agree, but they don't exist on this computer.
Perhaps within a word processing package, something I don't do.
So I'll use numbers.

I disagree. Asterisk is not a number. Your machine probably displays the character, no?

Apple Macintoshs have it on the keyboard (Shft-Opt-8) but with Windows or Linux (apparently) one has to use escape character and the ASCII value or the HTML name.
  • Decimal 149
  • Oct 225
  • Hex 95
  • Bin 10010101
  • Symbol &#
  • HTML No •
  • HTML Name •
  • Description Bullet
  • Category Extended ASCII Codes
https://everythingfonts.com/ascii/codes/149

I'm no help with Windows and vBulletion doesn't recognize &bull.

ASCII nonprinting control characters. More information. Insert an ASCII or Unicode character into a document. Escape character - Wikipedia

The ASCII "escape" character (octal: \033, hexadecimal: \x1B, or ^[, or, in decimal, 27) is used in many output devices to start a series of characters called a control sequence or escape sequence. Typically, the escape character was sent first in such a sequence to alert the device that the following characters were to be interpreted as a ...
Long story short -- use the button.

Ping aerohead. I invite your attention to this:

Since there’s no info : A snow storm caused 125,000 car pileup ! They were part trapped in that. Out of 125,000 cars 21 isn’t that many sadly. 6 from hypothermia, 15 from asphyxiation.
Other comments suggest piling more snow on your car to make a snow cave and have survival candles and wooden matches in the glove box.

I changed my sig line too soon, XKCD said stats are a farce and truth is unknowable. So -- this story: 21 Tourists Stuck In Cars Die After Being Trapped By Snow In Pakistan does not prove an Ice Age is on the way.
