Watched an episode of Human Universe today and a theory was proposed that climate change forced the evolution of hominids to increase their brain size and intelligence to cope with challenging environments. The show went on to point out that humans are in all corners of the world, and even in space.
Dealing with various climates, and changing ones, is what we're most capable of dealing with. Those that say climate change is an existential threat are either ignorant or a tyrant seeking power.

It was dead 8-14-2020 because numerous global warming posts I had been watching and trolling hadn't been posted to for 3 to 6 months. Then I searched for more and only found more of the same, a bunch of true believers abandoning their religion for the latest thing, virus fear porn. Also 2 fairly significant papers had been released and not a peep from any of the true believers.
I called them out and that caused a swarm of posts over about a week and they went back to 24/7 virus fear porn till about 2021.
