That's the problem with our ability to accurately assess risk, that violent events are palpable, like someone being swept by a flood, but things like deaths due to lower global GDP, or access to affordable energy are not.
Where are the vandals of artwork protesting those atrocities?
As an aside, I went grocery shopping last night and it seems prices are up way more than even a few weeks ago. It was a $350 bill. A box of cereal is $5.

Climate change is not a movement. Its always been there. We've just accelerated it. The earth with continue regulating its temperature through countless more ice age/s and temperate age/s long after humans become extinct.

If it wasn't for global warming we might already be going into the next ice age.

Unfortunately.
The Climate change movement is far from dead…

I mean, all it takes is to say "no", and mean it more than the other smuck.

Actually building 15/20-minutes neighborhoods is completely at odds with suburbia, so we will just set up roadblocks and a surveillance regime. That's sure to get the same result.
It's like in Sand Fransisco where the anti-suicide nets on the Golden Gate Bridge are costing more and taking longer than it did to build the bridge in the first place.

Like most insane ideas, it will accomplish the exact opposite as intended. CO2 emissions will double as the entire band travels into town rather than the individual traveling to see them.
SF should save money and build the suicide plank. I'm not in any way trivializing suicide as it affected me greatly (this time of the year, every year), but stupid ideas are stupid regardless of the subject.

Increasingly bazaar behavior.
They become more unreasonable and more irrational.
Get some of what they want and react by lashing out with no regard for optics.

If you feed a bear, you eventually run out of food to offer.
This is why I offer zero to people with insane ideas.
If someone wants to cut CO2 emissions, THEY are free to do so. If enough people are like-minded, the market will accommodate their preferences.
The tolerant and accommodating leftists somehow convinces themselves that imposing their will upon others is how you embrace diversity.

'might already be going into next ice age'
I don't have my climate workbook with me, but I believe that glaciologists have basically said the same thing.
One of the Milankovitch orbital forcing cycles, powerful enough to alter the climate, would be making a showing about now.
Earth continues to warm though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you image Earth from the Moon in infrared, it indicates an average, + 1-F, just as it would if it had no atmosphere, compared to the Moon, which averages negative 100-F.
Only until you get down to around 8-miles above the planet, does it's actual temperature show up, a global average of +57.8-F, same as 120,000-years ago, when oceans were 20'-30' higher.
Greenhouse gases already in the atmosphere will be there for a thousand years. There probably won't be any ice-ages until after we're all extinct.
