The 'Younger Dryas' was not a 'global' event, it was a limited, regional event. It doesn't qualify as an 'observation' for a 'climate' event.

One important piece of the puzzle involves sea-floor spreading, which has accompanied all known geomagnetic reversals. The Matuyama chron / Cobb Mountain Reversal, 1.1-million years ago is one example.

'Total Solar Irradiance' ( TSI ), as I've already mentioned, has been a component of every general circulation climate model ever run.
And as I've already mentioned, TSI is a quantified value, and it's potential for climate-forcing is insignificant compared to that of anthropogenic climate-forcing, also quantified with precision.
Climate scientists don't 'THINK' TSI has little effect, they 'KNOW' it has little effect.

The use of 3-D impedances produces substantially more spatial variance in the calculated voltages, with the voltages being more than an order of magnitude different, both higher and lower, than the voltages calculated utilizing regional 1-D impedances.... This demonstrates the importance of using realistic impedances to understand and quantify the impact that a geomagnetic storm has on power grids.

Another example of the closer you look, the more you know.

Well then their models will continue to always be wrong.

wrong
Perhaps wrong, but they'll always be state-of-the-art and statistically at the highest levels of scientific probability. And better with each succeeding generation.

Well, h*ll. It's fire accelerationist arson season again.
www.sacbee.com: College professor held in wildland arson spree near California’s massive Dixie Fire
[QUOTE]A college professor suspected in a series of arson fires in remote forested areas of Northern California near the massive Dixie Fire has been charged in connection with one of the blazes in Lassen County and was ordered ordered Wednesday at the Sacramento County Main Jail.
Gary Stephen Maynard, 47, is believed to have worked at a number of colleges in California, including Santa Clara University and Sonoma State University, where a Dr. Gary Maynard was listed as a lecturer in criminal justice studies specializing in criminal justice, cults and deviant behavior.
Sonoma State spokeswoman Julia Gonzalez said Maynard is no longer with the university. The school took down his profile page minutes after The Sacramento Bee’s request for comment.
He was bound over Tuesday by [U.S. Magistrate Judge Kendall J. ] Newman, who said the nature of the case suggested there may be mental issues at play: “There’s certainly some potential, if not red flags, pink flags,” he said.

Maynard
I can see the networks competing for exclusive rights to the story, for a movie made for television.

It will be a comedy. The arsonists are making Molotov cocktails with plastic bottles that don't break when you throw them.
ktvz.com/news: Suspect re-arrested after 6 more brush fires set near Portland freeway
I guess the theory is that breakable glass retains fingerprints.
