Yes, Mars receives only 43.1% of the Sun's intensity, as compared to Earth. 371 calories / square-centimeter, vs to 839 calories / sq-cm.

Not cosmic.

But has the potential to be very, very bad...

potential..........eventually

As we lose the polar ice, the crustal rebound will introduce stress and strain which didn't exist before the Industrial Revolution ( Revulsion? ), which, in 1870, had already experienced increased seismic activity since the deglaciation / sea-level reference interglacial geodetic reference datum was achieved.
This is what can really unzip major faults.

We should send all the heat back into space!
Seriously.

That, or paint everything white.

Any solar air heater will work in reverse at night, this adds the hafnium oxide coating so it works in the daytime.

Maybe the answer is a concentrating collector with switchable filters?

Why the sad face? Jak Connor's writing is a swing-and-a-miss. Comparing a diameter to a height instead a diameter or mass. And comparing to the speed of sound ....in space?

edit: Well, now I watched Anto Petrov's new video Dangers and Anomalies of Interplanetary Dust Revealed by the Solar Probe and I'm thinking someone should be looking for a suitable metallic asteroid with the minimum Delta V to put it into an Earth-Mars Aldrin cycler orbit. It could be decked out like a Portman hotel.

Mars recently had an an uptick in quakes to include an M4 quake that lasted over an hour. Yep sounds geologically dead to me.
If it's geologically dead then how can there be an uptick in geological activity.
