Nothing much has changed from me. Biggest change for me is my ebay went from a $3,600 per month stand seller account to a $17,000 per month top rated seller account.
I have probably had the china virus twice now. Second time I was feeling pretty bad from about 4 am till around noon, very high fever body aches. But like most junk from china that comes in contact with me, it didn't last very long.

Since classical magnetism is created by pushing an electrical charge through a conductor, you do have a conductor in the molten core. Possibly something in the movement of metallic atoms is generating the charge.

This fits with my understanding of the right hand rule of magnetic force, earth rotation and the magnetic north pole.

C19 symptoms are common to practically all illness. The only symptom I found strange was loss of taste, and that occurred late, but other illnesses cause loss of taste too.

January was also the tail-end of regular flu season, and I expect more people were getting flu in Jan than Covid.

Not saying you didn't get it, just wouldn't take that side of the bet.

The Sperry Gyroscope, inertial navigation system has been in operation since 1911. As far as navigation is concerned, there'd be no concern for 'where' the North magnetic pole lay. Ships and aircraft don't use it.
