The old 'can't investigate someone running for office' routine?

More probably: bad juju to investigate one's future boss.

Current thought is that orange man may well run again, but the outcome is very uncertain

My hope is that in January, with an exemplary Speaker of the House, he they could right the Ship of State sufficiently to allow for a runoff in 2024 between say, Ron DeSantis and Tulsi Gabbartd.

I got your cosmic catastrophee right here

Runaway greenhouse Earth:

The really interesting part for me was at ?t=153 where he says plants Carbon is C12 while rocks are C13. Now I want to kinow if petroleum has one or the other. That would settle the deep, hot abiotic oil question.

We'll see if I care enough to find out. As much as I care about Mr. Miyazaki's Flaptor.

Not at all until I did a DDG search.

www.msn.com: Freeman Thomas, Designer of the Reborn Meyers Manx 2.0 EV, Talks Dune Buggies and More

Quote:
C/D: Is there still a flat spot on the fender to rest your beer?

FT: Of course, of course.
That covers the bascs, but it's no longer a kit you can build at home. Thus I care more about the FUV.

I suspect every article that shows the red car with the Superbeetle windshield is wrong. The green car has free-standing headlights but the C/D interview says it uses VW buckets. So....

www.autoevolution.com/news/the-classic-meyers-manx-dune-buggy-gets-electric-counterpart-and-it-sucks-81388.html says it's an NEV, so it's still early days for accurate reporting.

Finite but unbounded, or so I hear. The recursive Dodecahedron is consistent with Simulation Theory.
I believe that the James Webb Space Telescope will be able to help folks better study the expansion via the red-shift of the light, as 'sources' speed away from the observation point, and space itself continues to expand, and expand at an ever- quickening pace.
When I watch programming, I kinda comprehend what the physicists are saying, and soon after, it's just so much 'mush.'
With all the 'expansion' going on, gravity is still powerful enough such that our Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy are expected to collide in the distant future.

Counterintuitive is it not? It's uphill both ways.

Red shift my not be just one thing.

[2007.00704] Modeling features in the redshift-space halo power ...
This is the first demonstration that perturbative models can accurately fit the redshift-space clustering of biased tracers in N-body simulations of such theories. By comparing different theoretical models and IR resummation schemes we assess the current theoretical uncertainty in predicting power spectra for models with features.

https://arxiv.org › abs › 1509.08232
[1509.08232] Understanding redshift space distortions in density ...
One of the most important features of density-weighted velocity statistics in redshift space is the change in sign of the cross-correlation between the density and density-weighted velocity at mildly small scales due to nonlinear redshift space distortions. Our model can explain this characteristic feature without any free parameters.
IIRC age of feature was a parameter.

I think this one set off the whole thing about dark matter.
The mass which can be 'experienced' by our instruments is inconsistent with what would be physically necessary to explain the angular momentum phenomena which they're observing and recording.
It's fun stuff to follow, even if comprehension isn't there.

More food for thought:.

Early galaxies appear smaller than they should if expansion is real. Observed red shift is 100x what they anticipated.
