On the left side of the car you mean right?

Most places that are "civilised" spell it Civilization.

My neighbor with the Hummer, letting the kids ride the ATV up and down the street, and without any helmets.

Another annoyance is that my copy of "Civilization - The West and The Rest" (recommended by the way) was sitting right here when I tapped that mistake...

Looks like someone's been driving on the uncivilized Continent again.
I understand you're back from your vacation?

Little blonde women* in big black SUV's**.

*) Always in sunglasses, always talking on a phone.
**) Almost always German-made (Mercedes, Audi, BMW), but other brands are also allowed, as long as they are big and black.

Big black SUV's tend to be annoying.
Little blonde women also tend to be annoying (though not much more than non-little and/or non-blonde and/or non-women).
But the little blonde women in big black SUV's are among the worst things that you can meet on the road. By 'worst' I mean both annoying and dangerous.
Especially if you are cycling.

Unfortunately so.

I agree on the honny mummies in massive 4x4s to keep their little Tarquin safe. They need the off road skills to handle all those kerbs they mount and verges they park on.

An annoyance for me yesterday was suicyclists riding together...
...side by side on a two lane road.
