That's impossible to find. No matter what happens, once you have a person report on it, that person injects their own viewpoint into that event.

Personally, I used to be a big AGW believer basically because as a geology student (for a while) it was so obvious that the planet was getting warmer relative to the ice age we were in 10k years ago. Looking at the geological evidence of retreating glaciers and a shrinking arctic ice sheet seemed like a no brainer. But I've done enough research to feel less comfortable with the Anthropomorphic part of GW. I don't know if humans are contributing to climate change or not.

However, while I was doing some personal research in 2008 (still in full AGW believer mode), I came across a bigger problem, Peak Oil. After seeing the overwhelming evidence to support Peak Oil (far more evidence than we'll have for AGW in the next 20 years), I figured what the hell is the point of focusing on AGW. Our lives are about to change forever over the next 5-20 years as more and more people fight over a more difficult to acquire resource. In modern agriculture oil equals food. In the modern economy oil equals economic growth. In modern life oil equals our social fabric.

So why bother worrying about whether humans are causing global warming or not? The focus should be on building more self-sufficient, energy independent lifestyles that will help you and your family as changes come, and if it just so happens to reduce your carbon footprint, well that's just a bonus.

That sounds like a call in rallying the troops.

According to Neil a good Leftist will discredit Fox News no matter what they report. If you are a true believer (in Leftist politics) you can NEVER "be on the same side as Fox News." NEVER. If so you must be a traitor to the cause.

Neil didn't expect the recent barrage of videos to counter his. It has touched a nerve. HIS are truth. Yours are propaganda.

Should we return to pretending that the Global warming / Climate change hoax is not a politically motivated movement?

This is the most powerful solvent known to man, and it is part of the exhaust of coal plants. This stuff has also been found in cancer cells, and it's the major component of acid rain. It has been known to burn and even kill people. Symptoms of dihydrogen monoxide overdose include muscle weakness, twitching, cramping, nausea, vomiting, seizures, coma, and death. Sounds like you ought to go about banning dihydrogen monoxide, instead.
Nasty stuff, that oxidized hydrogen. Its liquid form is eroding away our topsoils, its solid form has eroded away entire mountains, and our oceans are thoroughly contaminated with it. Currently massive spills of its crystalline form are causing deaths and turmoil along much of the east coast of the USA and in parts of northern Europe. Yep, the government needs to step in and regulate it for our own good. Its obvious the free market isn't up to the job.

At least we know that those UN delegates at the Cancun Climate Change Conference finally realized just how dangerous dihydrogen monoxide is. They even signed a petition calling for some sort of ban on this substance.

Wanna know why people watch Fox news? Because they haven't forgotten Dan Rather and his attempt to throw an election through fabricating 'the news' (which backfired), and 50 years or more of domination of the news media by the political Left. (Or 100 years, if you want to bow down to the "Old Gray Lady", AKA The New York Times.)

After that many years, any channel broadcasting counter-propaganda seems like a breath of fresh air by comparison.

I'll not deny that both sides propagandize. But let's not pretend that the global warming / climate change BS is anything other than a fund raiser for Left-wing partisan politics, aimed at fearful idiots. (You think that 'the sky is falling'? Have we got a book to sell you? You already bought AlGore's book. This one is the sequel.)

And the sheeple said: "Baa, Baa, Baa!"

That's not why. It's because they are too simple to actually look into anything before forming their half-***ed opinions. It's just easier i.e. requires no effort, to glom onto a group that generally fits what they want to believe. Willfull ignorance is the hallmark of today's society. P.S. I don't give a **** about Rather either. All TV news is a crock of little micro sound bytes spoon-fed to an audience that is presumed to have severe ADD.

It doesn't matter to anyone who is sympathetic to Leftist ideology. They wish his self-induced disrepute were quickly forgotten and never again mentioned. Unfortunately for the liberal news media, society has not yet sunk so low where fabrication and falsification can pass as journalism.

Let us now return to our regularly scheduled programming (of Leftist fantasy) that everything on Fox news must be Right-wing lies and that Dan Rather would still be a darling, respected, powerful "journalist" (were it not for some rather problematic evidence that exposed him as being nothing more than a shill for the Left).
