In my day, we did Photochops, and we liked it. Uphill both ways.

My classmates at Arizona State were always taking pictures of their laptops. Today someone declared the proper way! You print the screen (not press the PrtSc key, you actually print the screen), scan it in, and save it as an unnecessarily large, yet poor-quality jpeg!
This conversation never got better.
We should be able to make templates for boat tails, wheel skirts, etc. It seems like it would be too easy to move and adjust as necessary, I just do not have any idea how to make it happen.

conflicting goals conundrum
Kayak.
Cardboark Kammback removed. Looks not horribly terrible from the side, but...
Yech.
With the hatch open, the corners project well outside of the car's normal frontal area. Add to the increased frontal area of the top of the hatch and it's a hot mess.

Your car has gotta serve, too. Ever since the ancient Indo-Europeans domesticated and then rode horses, beauty and service have been held in unsteady balance.
At least it ain't the 17' Grumman canoe I used to carry on the roof of Black & Green.

You need a single wheel trailer, would make a more stable interesting boat tail. Wouldn't have to be real long, could still have some of the kayak inside the car...
