I thought the concept of a trike being legal without various tests was the founding idea of cars like the Elio, you know, one wheel short of a full complement being built.

I thought it was loud and uninformative.

This one gets into serviceability issues and warranty, but the drivers-head-mounted camera (in traffic) is hard to watch.

Edit: I see a comment from Rich Goldstone that is a laundry list of good questions; among them, where is the OBDII plug, are alignment specs available to alignment shops, and how does it fit on the hydraulic lifts at the auto werks.

Heh. Typical Scotty Kilmer. I saw that video, but decided to push my car to O'Reilly and then Costco instead.

I made my link look like yours. Hopefully it works now.

sheepdog 44 -- The ChrisFix video says they will be thinner in production versions.

I'm watching his other videos like:
  • How to Refill an Aerosol Spray Can (Like Carb Cleaner, WD40, etc)
  • Homemade Penetrating Fluid, How to Make Your Own
  • Fix a Cracked Bumper Fast and Easy with Zip Ties (Drifters' Stitch)

Neat stuff.

Scotty Kilmer advertises the Elio:
Are the doors/is the door plastic? It keeps flexing pretty significantly when he leans his arm on it.

Trikes are motorcycles in the US, at least for now. I have a feeling get a bunch on the road with closed cabins and have then run over by all the big SUVs and pickups out there and public outcry will ensue along with lawsuits against Elio and the game will be over before it begins.
