I think Elio can easily make this, just not for less then about twice what they are saying. If they do start making them, and do it for the price they are talking, scarf one up. They will either quickly jack up the price once they "proved" they could do it or go out of business trying to sell on a negative profit margin.

Coming late to the party. Yeah, this is vapourware. Especially the price. You can't buy a Yamaha FZ-09 for that money and that's a relatively simple naked bike made by the thousands by an established marque. These things look real nice but the economics just don't work and sheeple don't like "different" cars. They want 'normal' cars. You need mass volumes to sell at prices anything near that. It sucks but that's life.

There is, however, a market for hideously ugly three wheel motorcycle air blenders marketed to people who use the word "badass" In every other sentence: The Slingshot. An apt name, the irony of which will probably escape the passenger and driver if they are launched from the vehicle during an inevitable foray off the marked motorway. Nothing says badass like a trip to the ECU followed by medically induced bankruptcy.
