I didn't even know that apple seeds had the same poisonous compound that is also found in manioc (cassava/yuca), even though it evaporates while cooking. Not sure if the same would happen with the apple seeds if they get exposed to high temperatures.

Been a while since I read it, but I think the Red Delicious used to taste good. Then they started breeding them to be even more red and eye-catching, which had a side effect of making them taste terrible.

My roommate says red delicious are great right off the tree, but flavorless from the store.
So, the least-popular brand of apples has a better future than the imaginary vehicle we are supposed to be discussing in this thread?  |

The Elio is only imaginary if you ignore the prototypes. We will know that they are finally done when they sell off those. |
