Just got done installing mine last night. Still have to calibrate it and hook up the switches, but I think it turned out pretty good:

That's awesome!! Very similar to what I'd like to do eventually. Where will you ( or where did you) put the buttons?

Had a bunch of these laying around:

So I used one to make this:

Used the pre-assembled 'guino; had to clip off the LCD screen and resolder with a ribbon cable, and then mount it closer (used hot glue gun to attach 'guino board to the screen board) in order to get it all to fit.

Originally I tried mounting the LCD screen on the cover instead of the back of the mint tin, but it turned out the buttons interfered with the hinge of the tin.

Plan to re-paint the tin in flat black...

A few more pics:

Front and back (Cap sticks out... kinda like a supercharger sticking out of the hood ):

Inside:

Side view mounted (using a piece of coroplast glued to the back to mount it to the steering column):

I mounted the buttons in/on top of the steering column cover... Basically I mounted them where you put your MPGuino in the mint tin (in reference to the pictures you posted above). Just used Cat5E cable that I had laying around to run to the MPGuino.

Will try and get pictures later tonight. I actually had not mounted the switches yet when I posted the cluster pictures.

Yeah, somewhat similar, but my buttons would be in the panel where your hazard switch is (my switch is up on the dash, not on the steering column).

Is that the dash in the ZX2? Those pictures are kinda trippy.... Makes me want to tilt my head to make the trim "level", but then the gauges are turned. lol
