I have found out that misting the foam very lightly (between layers) with water or injecting water into the deposited foam with a sringe will greatly speed up the setting time. The foam seems to set up by absorbing moisture from the air, normally.

wow thats interesting.. guess covering it up didnt help.. lol.. its pretty humid here..

As for curing time i have noticed the thicker it it is the longer it takes to cure.. i've had 8 hour cures when I cut into them be sticky inside still.. ill let them cure up good and hard.

i wonder if i can get "great stuff" to finance the car, got about 14 cans into the car so far..luckily it was on sale last time i picked it up.. lol

Maybe bondo to for the resin and bondo i have on the car..

I forgot which company makes the spray foam, but they have a thing where you post up what alternative use for the foam and so fourth..

To be expected if the only way the foam can get the moisture it needs to cure is from the outside surface inward. Funny to think that the foam is capable of passing water (vapor?) thru the hardened part into the soft core.
