I'm sorry sr, this thread it's about feminism, so please don't move attention away from this noble female thematic talking about a silly bucket on head :

In portuguese we say futebol americano. In spanish I presumed it was futebal americano but it's fútbol americano. My spanish it's a mess.
If this player get injury, can't he go to courts ask for indenization?
Like I said the helmets need to be redesigned. A inner soft shell to absorb impacts. A intermediary hard shell, to avoid breakthrough, and a soft outer shell to absorb impact and specialy to avoid that the helmet work as a hammer to the other guy.

No, he was just a teenager when he arrived in Brazil by himself. He worked making wooden barrels for load-bearing on donkey backs. Then some conflict happened with the Indians somewhere en route from Rio Grande do Sul to Sorocaba, and he was taken along by them. That was my paternal grandfather's paternal grandfather.

There is prejudice in society and we need to fight it, but we must spot all prejudices, and not just some. This girl soccer player deserves respects. I bet shew suffered prejudice, but a lot of people suffered too in other healms that don't get attentionl. They demand women to play soccer with male team, but if a man would play with female team... Would they accept???
Would they demand male top model to be paid as well as female top models??? Or the law of captalism it's just unfair when it's unfavor to women?
They complain about women be objects, but most of the millionaire women of movie industry which raise this flag got millionaire due this, legs, boobs and... So there are a lot of contradiction in their values.

One question for you if you don't mind: Are you against girls get too much boys playing, like soccer, or against boys get dance lesons?

I could really care less about it, as long as it's their own choice and neither they're brainwashed into it or try to push everyone else to follow their footsteps.

Radical feminists don't really bother me, and they aren't a threat. In fact, they are the least threatening arbitrary group I can think of at the moment. The reason is that most women are driven to compete for the attention of men. That is generally how women wield power and maintain their security. Women that don't attract men are doomed to be neither powerful, nor reproductive. They select themselves out from participating in shaping the future.
I can ignore them, just as I ignore a barking dog or other obnoxious noise because it has no bearing on my future, or really anyone else's other than their own.

Or Poe's Law?
Quote:
Poe's law
Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of the parodied views.

Thanks for brightening my morning. That was great. (0:32) "If he overheats and does that, then just don't jump." Why can't they use brooms like everyone else?

Not what a typical Uncle Jordan's follower would say.
Jordan says radical feminism can be dangerous.

I'm not a follower of anyone; but that doesn't mean I don't listen.
I could be mistaken, but I'm not aware of Jordan saying radical feminism poses an existential threat, or even a substantial threat to freedom. I do know that he says the radical left assumption of truthfulness or rightfulness based on group membership that has arbitrary and varying degrees of victimhood status is dangerous.
50 Shades of Grey (I've never read it or really know much about it) is proof that extreme feminism will never be popular because it goes against human biology. Women fantasize about a domineering man, not one seeking approval for every little thing ("can I hold your hand, can I place my hand on your waist, can I kiss you..."). The extreme feminist idea of 50 Shades of Grey would only appeal to 1% of the female population or less.
...anyhow, I'll grab lunch and listen to the latest JBP podcast.
