I just showed this thread to my brother, who long ago owned your Firebird's sibling: a '67 Camaro.

His first question: what happened to the quarter/vent window in the door? It's there in the top pic.

They are off of the car and under the workbench while I am doing body work. They will go back on when it is time. I didn't want to get the glass messed up from blasting or grinding.

I just saw this stylish roll bar on a photo of a '69 Firebird retro-mod. I would really like to know where they bought it. It would allow me to have shoulder belts in the Firebrid. Even my wife likes the idea when I showed it to her, so I will be revising my plans to include something like this.

I stumbled upon this post after deciding to do my own prius body swap. I have a wrecked 2010 prius and a mangled 1969 mustang. Wheelbase is nearly identical. I'm just lowering the body and test fitting it tonight. Cool swap! Good luck on yours

Good for You!!! I always hoped my project would encourage others to do something similar. Looks like yours will be finished much sooner than mine, since I can't work out in the cold garage in winter. Once both projects are done, we should meet up somewhere for a photo shoot for an article. Please consider starting your own thread so we can all follow your progress!

Please also consider dropping by the Priuschat forums and showing that crew what you are doing too.

Ignore the haters. They have closed minds. In the future their cars will be off of the roads while we are still Hybrid Synergy Drive cruising.

Just making it like "Wheels" from the short lived (13 episodes) 1984 TV cartoon, "Pole Position".
