The best I have gotten was 31MPG in
MY city 26.7 highway and 28.8MPG combined (over 200 miles, 40 miles city/164 miles highway),
that is stock hypermiling with a 11 year old worn out battery
I don't think you will be leaving V4 mode often on that car (it weights 2,000 pounds less )
41-43MP
H is the optimal fuel efficiency spot ( CVT mode) 45MPH+ it's on gear #4 and you lose quite a bit
that is how i'm able to get BIG numbers 100% stock (the engine is just idling at that speed
)
I estimated you would get about 46-50MPG on that 6.0L V8 OR you will twist the chassis.up. with all that torque basically has 3x the power of a Prius.
the theoretical max on a flat level grade NO extra wind and other favorable conditions etc.. is 38-42MPG 36mpg 100% stock is more likely IRL

the coefficient drag on that firebird is horrible i suspect the 0-60 time will 15 to 20 seconds which means you can't use it on the highway(will not be able to merge safely)
2014 Toyota Prius C
0-60 MPH 10.9 sec
0.24 drag coefficient
on the tahoe it's nice the the 08 and 09 are not electronic governor locked 0-60 is 6.8 seconds
(My09 is electronic governor locked to 8.9 seconds)
GM started locking them after the unintended acceleration issue with toyota.....
