I'm estimating about another month to go if the builders stay healthy. Insulation is in and they have started hanging the wallboard this week. Maybe the stay home order will be lifted by the time the house is ready.

Have you set just inside your back door, with it open, and listened to this song?

Great song. Brings back memories of watching "Hee-Haw" as a kid.
Actually, the back door faces the corner of the Old Car Shop. Good enough view for me!

COVID-19 delaying the house. My family and I are fine cooped up in the rental double-wide. The builder is only allowed two workers at a time at the house, but feels lucky to be allowed to do even that. Looks like moving day may not be until the 4th of July weekend (I hope!)

Double-wide?
Luxury!
My family of 80 lives in a single-wide that is missing half.

How much do you expect the delay and extended rental time for the double-wide are going to impact the final cost of your house?

We are running between 4 to 6 months behind the original schedule. We started month-to-month rental in the double-wide last August, so figure an extra 6 months of rent. Add to that the cost of 6 more months of rent for two local storage garages with all of the automotive stuff in it, and 6 more months of storage payments for two PODS that are still back in Columbus. I don't want to add up those numbers!

Someone has to keep the economy going! You shouldn't try to do it all by yourself.
