Yep, with some shims and large washers. My tow hook sits nearly flat, so the pipe goes straight up (it looks like the one in the picture is vertical).

Beat my PB for the return trip from work. 39.99 MPG (I like to round up though, 40 MPG ). It was just about all I could manage from it right now though. Under the speed limit as much as possible, good light timing, and coasting to all my turns. I had to EoffC the ~.5 mile from my house and push the car (I always back in) into the driveway to get it.

Excited for more mods/testing. Next goal would be to reliably get 40 MPG on the return trip. The way there is more difficult with traffic. I've been averaging 33-36 MPG on the way there vs the 37-38 on the way back.

No. I don't use the passenger mirror much as is. Mostly reliant on the rearview and driver mirror. Only use the passenger when changing lanes and making left turns, so it hasn't really bothered me.

Decided to go a little faster than usual today. Got up to 108 MPH. Steering got really light. I think I can assume that feeling was because of front end lift. Still managed 30 MPG for that trip. I also think that 40 on the return trip is actually pretty attainable right now as long as I don't have too much traffic. I've been refining the methods used last time and have been consistently getting 39+. That little stunt reversed my tanks upward trend and I am now sitting at ~35.3 MPG with 2 gallons left in the tank.

Ok. For my 2nd pitot tube mount attempt I am going to try to use the same concept as this video.

This way I can use it as a tripod for my camera for tuft testing as well as the pitot tube mount for pressure testing.
