Well,

I've posted my "competition" tank -- I eeked out 41.02mpg. I hope it's enough to hold off Big Dave -- can you get 23.07 or better Dave?

Nice work Neil...you're battling the same temps I am here in MA. Big Dave has to fight the frozen temps of Indiana (and maybe he's hauling something around too?) so it might be a close one...stand by to stand by.

Attached the updated tourney bracket for those following along.

And...for the record I'm not the woman or Elmo in the photo!

I went to napa and the guy brought out a 1000w coolant heater, $53 I think he said... Im kinda looking for something cheaper and about half the wattage. Advance had a 400w model listed for like $25 on their site but I went to the store and the guy said they dont have them. Im pretty sure he had no idea what I was talking about though. At first he was like "you mean heater core?".

By the way heres what youre up against, buddy.

Road Trip!

I'm taking The Benz on a 2000ish mile road trip this week, and I'm bringing a grill block! Some will be cold weather, but I think my average will be over 30MPG.

that might help the fe and get u a few good tanks...the benz could be a factor in this tourney.

because youre entering more than one tank in your fuel log after the trip could u do them one tank per day so i can pick up the changes in your 90 day tank to tank. ill need a new 90 day avg for each round of the touney for u should u advance that far...thanks and have a great trip!
