The drawing has the driver over the front axle, but the actual car seat is further back.
Check the position of the backrest; it is behind the trailing edge of the front door. The driver will have his feet between the front wheels, not ahead of them.
That car would need a big airco, that's the main problem. And it would be noisy.

They could have put the rear end a meter aft and made it a trike.

That looks similar in several ways to the new Ford GT and Le Mans LMP1 cars.
