The Jesko launched as an all-new Koenigsegg in 2019, and the Absolut continues its story with a different purpose. With the Absolut, Koenigsegg set out to reduce drag as much as possible and make the Jesko as slippery as possible. That started with reducing downforce, so the massive wing was replaced with two fins inspired by F-15 fighter jets. These fins "clean up airflow over the rear end," which helps increase high-speed stability.

Further reducing the drag coefficient to 0.278, Koenigsegg extended the rear hood, added rear wheel covers, lowered the ride height, removed the front wheel louvres, and removed the front hood closed air duct. The front suspension, which is more compact that the setup found on the Jesko, is also slightly softer, which makes the car more comfortable on the road, as well.

This is the car that I saw and then couldn't remember.

Vertical fins aren't going to reduce downforce. It's actually the concave contour at the rear. IIRC the 'spoiler' area gives a surface for the air to push down on.

Researched and read Cd estimates varying from 2.87 to 3.2 on this car, but my eyes really like it.

I saw one of these in a parking lot yesterday, not see one before, apparently making this mode since 2018.

About 300 Litestar Pulse Fully enclosed Motorcycles were built in the 1980's in Owosso, Michigan with a Cd=.193.

I saw one of these in the mid-1980's, guy had a sign on it saying questions $1.00. My co-worker asked a question then walked away and the guy tried to shake me down for the $1.00, what a jerk.

Thanks. I recall the Bede BD-5J . It was a turbojet powered variant.

Another grounded fuselage we've seen before.

I'm really starting to like the Claveau 7 CV Sport.



One could take a sand rail chassis with a mid-engine boxer. The transaxle would be shorter so the engine bay would be smaller and it already has side-by-side seating without the center tunnel.

Minus the roll cage, plus a stitch-and-glue body, deeper with shallow doors, and you're pretty much there. Moon Ripple hubcaps on 19s?
