Only because it is being suppressed.

Debate in science should never end, that is how good science is done. Someone comes up with a theory, that theory is discussed, tested and proven, disproven, or even pondered some more. This takes years and decades even for the simplest science.
Declaring the debate over with because people with billions of dollars in backing say so is not good science.

A good scientist actually welcomes discussion and debate.
afterall, where was the Big Bang Theory 40 years ago when I was in HS?
(certainly not on tv....... )

And to answer some of your other comments,
Scientists are still studying gravity, the theories concerning it are always in flux.
Some of the theories about our own evolution have recently changed to match new data. Apparently we are all part Neanderthal.

That doesn't represent anything wrong with Evolutionary Theory, and doesn't change it.
That's just better understanding of the results of one Evolutionary experiment based on new evidence.

what has gravity to do with alleging man made climate change?
Seriously, every political bunch of sycophants has their "Crisis", that they get completely irrational about, enough already.

No politician lets any "crisis" go to waste. If there isn't any current crisis to be touted, one can be proposed and promoted. All it takes to create one is a plurality of sycophantic "scientists" who enjoy the benefit of receiving government grant money to stay employed.
Subservient creatures know not to bite the hand that feeds them.

Scientists debate everything, but when the basics are settled, they are settled. There are a lot of unknowns about climate science, but the basics are settled. Humans are largely causing climate change at this time, and carbon dioxide released from burning fossil fuels is the main cause.
Nobody is suppressing anything. What is happening is that there are oil companies who are getting rich and they want to maintain the status quo. And they are following a tried and true method virtually identical to what the tobacco companies did - they seed FUD and they say we need to study it more before we conclude that we need to stop soiling the only planet we all depend on for our lives.
You can refuse to accept the science, but that doesn't change reality. Do you understand how gravity works? Do you understand how the climate works? Do you understand how DNA works? No?
The scientists who study these do know much more then we all do, and science is the best understanding we have of reality.
Anthropogenic climate change is reality.
