Definitely a good choice. There's actually a fan following to entice GM to bring the "El" back to production. If done properly, a fuel-efficient version could be offered (most likely, performance versions would be popular -- like the SS of the past). It would probably be a Ute import from Australia, and converted to US standards (like the Pontiac GTO / Holden Manaro).

No I think you'll find it doesn't. You are mistaking something very big and with a big engine for supercar. A true supercar will excel in something - like speed, handling, or economy or (in the case of an SUV) in off-road ability.

So lets do the tests :

Speed - Nope, I have a toilet which extracts my poos faster than a Hummer can go.

Handling - Nope. I think the "Moose" in the "Moose test" will be in a pie.

Economy - Er, are you having a giraffe ?

Off road - Nope - a standard Jeep and especially a standard LR Defender (even with 4 cylinders of Diesel power) can go places Hummers just fail at.

There is nothing Super about a Hummer. It Hums, as in there is a smell about it.

Doublethink involved.
Double Think (Think)
I read it twice, I assumed the author didn't understand what else oil is used for, which kind of defeated their argument really.

If it's you, maybe you need to think deeper.

As it's a one post blog I won't add it to my bookmarks.

Cheers.
