Kinda surprising, seeing you've given it a boattail

That's what I thought!!
---
I just got back from a trip to Montreal - took the MPGiata. Mostly I stuck to the scenic route, which added an hour to the drive each way, but it was very nice.
Parked in the city, it seemed to draw attention: I saw more than one person stop on the sidewalk to take a picture. Must be a combination of the EcoModder-branded coro wheel discs and the big-@$$ air dam.
Since my MPGuino resets multiple times per trip, I have been keeping rough tabs on my tank MPG performance by noting the odometer each time the gas gauge needle passes a mark. Not perfect, I know, but after doing this for 5 tanks, I'm starting to get a feel for the margin of error.
This tank I'm at my highest ever trip odo reading at the half tank mark. It may be yet another new record. (Touch wood!)

Yup, another record!
Best fill yet! A hair below 54 MPG US = 4.4 L/100 km.
It sure seems like 55 MPG is a realistic target, if I'd just get off my lazy butt and do a few more aero mods.
Truth is, I'd rather cruise a little bit faster and take 50 MPG. I need more reliable instrumentation to be able to do that though.

A guy asked me about the wheel discs at the gas station yesterday. They draw more attention on this car than any other car I've put them on. (Which is all of them.)

50 isn't good enough!
Do you know about the UTCOMP?

UTCOMP-PRO & UTCOMP-3 all in one gauges
Works on non-OBDII vehicles. Yay!
Software requires Windows™. Boo!

Tank MPG computer
This is how I've been monitoring tank MPG progress because my MPGuino is too flaky to keep track...
... noting the trip odometer whenever the gas gauge needle is on one of the four marks on the gauge!
Accurate enough method that it correctly predicted the latest best-ever tank with a difference of 20 km at the 1/4 remaining mark.

That's how I knew how well a tank was going with the Nut Wagon. Sometimes I thought the fuel gauge was broken when the trip odometer seemed too far ahead of the fuel gauge. But I never went as far as a chart! At least not on paper, maybe there was one in my head.
Sometimes the Insight's fantastic economy instrumentation drives me crazy. Too much info! I'm used to getting fuel economy numbers every 3-4 weeks, not every few seconds! But I can't ignore the feedback.
