Like, you were traveling straight and the other person was stopped at a cross street, and proceeded across your lane?

What were the approximate speeds? What direction did the impact occur? Airbags deployed?

Was anyone shook up, or angry, or apologetic...

... this is why I hate obituaries. Don't tell me someone died if you're not going to tell me what took 'em out. Looking at you Queen.

Since nobody liked the previous diagram, I used AccidentSketch.com:

Pretty much.
I had just turned from a stop, so I was still accelerating to 25. I doubt that he went that fast around the corner, but this accident hurt.

The last one didn't.

This time my crumple zone crumpled like it had already been crumpled.

The replacement hood is damaged much more than the previous.

The hood stabbed the windshield, which has multiple cracks.

The radiator is pushed in significantly more than before.

There is no pulling the radiator core supports back.

The brand-new radiator is leaking.

I don't think that happened the first time, I think that happened after driving down a dirt road without splash shields.

I will update my previous message to include the vehicle tried to turn left.

I expect to have bruises and wake up sore in the morning. The side of my knee is starting to swell.

I was shaking as I asked to reschedule my appointment, but he was shaking much worse than I was, and for much longer.

I just asked:

His bosses came out and one said "I can't guarantee anything, but you'll probably be okay."

He apologized multiple times and we shook hands at the end.

Hope for a speedy recovery, and plenty of cash to purchase the Camry of your dreams, with some leftover for a dashcam.

Walking until I put my Accord together again.

I can borrow Mom's car, but I don't have a great track record with a Camry of that generation in Show Low.

She has comprehensive, though.

Since I just had collision, I couldn't go through my insurance if I wanted to.

You'd be quite well served if you could get one of these from Mexico...

Is it made out of depleted uranium?

In the last year an old white SUV, an old white minivan, and an old white pickup hit my car.

I don't want to go any smaller!

After being rear-ended by a full-length white work van I wanted to boat tail my Accord, but the only other time I was rear-ended was in my first Accord when some guy was angry at me for stopping at stop signs.

He drove off, I got his plate, but when the police showed up half an hour later they said I had the plate wrong.

Now I can at least verify the plate.

"No? Maybe it was a B, not an 8. That's it!"

I don't know what to do about insurance besides say that I am not driving that car anymore.

If their insurance doesn't pay out for a restored salvage car, I am pretty sure that I know how to get it back on the road again, but I didn't need to replace the windshield before--or the fender, and the way the fender is bent, at least one more bracket is bent underneath, plus the one that Crazy J pulled off.

Fenders and brackets are cheap, but Safelite would charge $305 to replace my windshield, so instead of paying $300 for parts I am now up to more like $600, plus $158.72 for the core support, and $240 to have Crazy J install it, assuming the damage I can't see isn't significantly worse than last time.

Let's not forget the radiator!

That would add $154.04, plus we need to replace that 8-month-old coolant!

That's at least $1,200 before any surprises and I am expecting surprises.

So, let's hope that the insurance makes a decent offer.

Sounds like you really need to prioritize that dashcam.

Regarding restored title and all the prior stuff, it hardly matters in what they need to pay you. Making you whole includes paying for a vehicle as mechanically sound as the one you lost, with approximately the same mileage and condition. Cosmetic damage doesn't matter on old cars because the value is in the reliability of the transportation. Factor in various taxes and fees...

Just reject their first offer and submit some comps you feel are fair. Show them dealership prices, not private party.

We all know that we'll all be subjected to your hunt for a pristine old Camry regardless if you fix this totalled vehicle or not. Write it off and let the hunt begin.

I don't know that dealership prices will do me any good, this is all that Auto Tempest showed me within 100 miles, although none of them have Colorado phone numbers:

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...tedEntity=d292

Kelley says that a 2004 Camry LE with 156,680 miles is worth $4,820 from a dealership.
$5,012 with 141,829 miles, $5,205 with 126,600 miles, and $5,440 with 112,814 miles, so $8,398, $9,518, and $11,686 are pretty high, although those do include $696-$1,897 for delivery.

Denver isn't 100 miles away or less!

I am trying to figure out how many miles my car had.

I just keep it on the trip meter.

I have logged a little over 9,000 miles, although I don't remember how many miles the car had when I bought her.

She had 201,423 miles when she was in an accident on November, but I only really drove her home and then while I was replacing the cat or something on my Accord.

Weird. AutoTempest allegedly searched Craigslist, but when I looked I saw:
An 18-day-old ad for a 2006 with 146,000 miles for $2,995 It doesn't show up on their website.
A 2006 with 187,000 miles for $3,500.

Huh. It shows 8 cars, but the rest are V6es or salvage.

I may have 210,000 miles!

A 2004 Camry with 210,000 miles from a dealer should be worth $4,398, according to KBB.
