The most slipery road conditions for a bike in my experiance are shiney Ice or wet mud. They are usualy so bad that the slitest steering input will put you down, thick gravel although nerve racking is not that bad, rough ice is ok, an other slippery surface is snow over top of a layer of slush, on this type of serface any steering inputs will need to be very slow and small... I have ridden motorcycles in 15cm/6" of snow with both feet sliding on the ground in 1st or 2nd gear checking my mirrors for traffic so that I would know when to pull over and stop until they have passed.

No, I've never tried snow or shiny ice... I'd rather not do it in the future
Wet mud, I've met that, it was terrible. Especially in the pouring rain when I wanted nothing, just to get home...

Mods -
How about adding a "Location" column to the team roster pages? That way you can see if a car/driver are in a location with weather issues.
I'm not suggesting you try to compensate the scores based on weather - a huge pain and a never ending chore too. But a viewer could get some idea of the weather conditions from the location info.

Busted. I've tried shiny ice, on a pretty steep downhill. I classified it as impossible after falling and bending the handlebar (not even a scratch on me). I couldn't even turn back, good that I could come down on the frozen grass next to the road. I've totally reached my limits.
So I stayed a few days at my mother's place last week. I wasn't exactly happy about not being able to go home, but ice is ice. I keep on commuting after that ice melted (was caused by sleety fog last Tuesday/Wednesday), the weekend was OK again.

702.3 mi @ 54.65 mpgUS (SGII @53.4 mpgUS)
1130,0 km @ 4,304 L/100 (FCD @4.40 L/100)
No change for my 3 months POE or for Toyota team, but got great fun despite higher traffic and colder temperatures.
Have fun,
Denis.

Cool. Just for kicka$$. Looks like Team Ford will welcome your addition, both for overall MPG and % of EPA.

Hmmm.
How about a chart showing team mpg's month by month?
Or maybe a chart for each team? Because we now have 19 teams, so one chart with a line for each team might be tough to read.

Such a chart would show the winter on the Motorcycle team - as Teresa's FE suffers the winter pretty much and there's no other member at a warmer climate to help me out. Bad for us.

My idea was that you could see your team improve (hopefully) over time. And if all teams are on one chart you could see when one team passed another, etc.
Your numbers might drop in winter but that also happens to any cars in places that have winter. Such as mine. Seeing lower numbers for December - Jan - Feb should be reasonable to anyone studying the graph.
