Hmmmm
Along with Forum, Blog, Store, Wiki, there would be "Teams". Probably not called "Compete" because that would cause confusion vs the competitions under "Events and Meetups".

It could hold the overall and team standings pages, and the team's discussion threads. There's this one, and one each for Team Honda and the Sports Car Team. Would be good to have more team threads, IMHO.

Not going to put a link up at the top or on the home page - too crowded already!

I will add a link in the fuel log area though. Makes sense to target members who are already keeping a log on a regular basis.

That seems like a reasonable spot. Hopefully that will increase participation a bit. I think it's more interesting when the teams get 10+ members rather than teams of one or two.

i agree with having more people on teams it doesn't skew the results by 1 guy having a really high mpg on a 2 person team. Making the teams more known and easy to get to should help

Can a car contribute to multiple teams? I'm thinking of Aerocivic and 3-Wheeler's insight, both currently in Team Honda. They could/should be part of Team Boattail as well.

YES more then one team is ok, join all that fit.

for example I am in two, Toyota and boat tails. my goal for the boat tail team was to get all the highly modded (cars and or drivers) in one team so others can see the combined MPG and % over epa possible. to me the MPG number is great but the % over epa shows how much you are trying. Car with no mods can still be 20-50% over EPA.

That's exactly what I was talking about. The trouble is, I don't see you listed in Team Toyota.
