Good job on the pic. I have been after the grey MiEV around here ever since I saw it for the first time, but no luck so far. I'll get it one day....

Cool!
Still haven't seen any eco cars since I got back (other than the 3rd gen Prius taxi in town... does that count?)

No. No it doesn't. I'll snap a pic on Thursday of the line up for the newer imports lane at the auction. I think there were 5 or 6 latest gen Prius there parked beside each other last week. I realize Vancouver is kind of an anomaly in the hybrid market, but still, I guess I have been spoiled and just don't see them as anything out of the ordinary. Still kicking myself for not buying that towed through 2009 with low KMs Prius for .... an insultingly low amount. A lot of leasing companies carry them here, so when one won't start they just blow it out, as no one at the auction knows how to try and get it running.

Drove this around a bit today. 2012 Scion IQ. Have to say I like it better than the Smart4Two, though sadly you can't get these in a manual shift either.

Not sure if the early Ford Ka qualifies as an eco-car...

Here is a 1993 Honda Civic CX. Not necessarly a notable eco car compared to the VX or the HX, but this one had almost no rust, which is nearly inexistant over here.
Also, not a Notable Eco Car, but a Notable Eco Mod :
A stock Belly Pan on a latest gen Honda Civic Si :

OK, how did you know about that belly pan? Do you look underneath every car?

I had seen one of those at Montreal Salon de l'auto 2012, so I wanted to see if it had one, and this Civic Si had it. The one I've seen at the salon de l'auto had better aero if I remember correctly.
I look underneath alot of cars indeed ! Maybe 3-5 time per day when I go biking.

1990 Accord with 87000 original KMs (54k miles)?
2004 (I think) Passat TDI wagon with 64000 KMs (39k miles)?
Lucky I am so broke I can't even afford to pay attention right now, or I woulda owned that Accord lol.
There was also a TRASHED 2009 Prius there today, had been a security company car, 245k KMs (152k miles), it ran and moved under it's own power, but the display said something about Service Hybrid System or something like that. Did I mention it was rough? They couldn't get a $2000 bid on it. That thing will be fire sale cheap next week, but I wouldn't buy it for half that much it was that bad.
