Good catch! It's weird, as even though there are a ton of hybrids around here, I hardly ever see a Volt. In fact, I think I see that MiEV more often than I see a Volt, and I still haven't managed to catch that one sitting still! I found a weird little enclosed electric car/scooter near my place, sitting in a parking lot. But it doesn't have license plates, so I don't think it counts as an eco car. I think it's one of those vehicles they use in big parking lots (like at a stadium) to move security people around. You used to be able to insure golf carts here, but I don't think you can anymore, too bad as that scooter deal would be perfect for going for groceries and beer! I'll grab a pic next time I go by there.

Nice. The white is my favourite for that car.
I've ...surprisingly... seen 3 Volts around here in the last few months. All driving by, though, so pas de photo.

I've seen a lot of Volts recently, when i take the bus, I spot 1 or 2 and sometimes more per day! When I spot one on the highway, they are always going fast in the left lane.
I also spotted the same black i-MiEV recently in a bike trip.
I rarely see Leafs

That's odd, maybe they had a dealer promotion for them in Quebec or something? I see more Escalade Hybrids in a day than Volts in a month! I saw a red first gen Insight today, and the guy waved at me. Which was odd, as I was just driving my Tracker. I guess he just saw me staring at his car lol.

Bigger problem (for Honda) is they're not selling well at all. Neither is the 2nd gen Insight. The market has spoken, and it overwhelmingly prefers Toyota's approach to hybrids.

I like those. There was one at the auction last fall, it was a 2011 with low KMs (15k ish I think), manual trans. It was even white, which I like. They couldn't get $17k for it. I drove it around the auction yard for quite a while lol, trying to decide if there was anyway I could justify buying it. If I didn't have my Insights, I probably would have bought it. I just wish they had either made them in a 3 cyl hybrid, or a 4 cyl ICE only, with an option between the two. It would have bridged the gap between ecomodder types and tuner types as far as sales went, and they would have sold a lot more of them. Sadly, I think they are doomed the way they are now.

What I don't like about Toyota hybrids is that there are no manual... IMA had the 1st gen Insight, the First Civic Hybrid, and the CRZ.. They should have make the 2nd gen Insight manual...

Really? I never seen any reference about it, that might be one of those things only a few blokes have ever seen, such as the head of a Cod fish
