Another hybrid Volvo S60. I see more hybrids than non-hybrids of this generation.

If someone told me 15 years ago that most of the taxis I would see nowadays where I spotted this hybrid Corolla would feature an automatic transmission I would probably not believe. And now, besides automatics finally becoming more widespread among Brazilian taxi drivers, once in a while I see a hybrid taxi too...

Even though something more aerodynamic would fare better as far as eco goes...

I spotted this pretty clean 3rd gen Civic at work today. A beautiful and economical car that is getting uncommon in near-stock decent condition.

Even though the XR3 was the sporty trim, the earlier Brazilian versions still retained the Renault-based CHT engine, which in turn had been pointed out to be more efficient than the European CVH on base models of the Mk.3 Escort, so it might qualify as eco. Not to mention how it fared quite well on ethanol back in the day...

Took these pictures in the first half of October, which in the Southern hemisphere is still early springtime.

No pics, but I was giving someone a ride home and saw an early 90's Geo Metro! I made embarrassing sounds...I rarely see the late 90's ones...probably been a year since I saw an early 90s. And "Geo"s vs all the other brands are even fewer...

Happy moment.

There's one parked outside my door right now. It's almost paid off, but it needs tires. I got a new battery for my camera, I should take some more pictures.

I like the Firefly, because it takes fender skirts well.
