One of my favourite eco cars.
I'm sure its design, while essentially functional for the aerodynamic and efficiency aspect, makes it look cool enough to draw attention even from those more conservative car enthusiasts who usually reject hybrids.

If I were rich, I'd probably have one.
Even though I like its appearance, I wouldn't buy one not even if I were rich. Due to its doors opening pattern, it's harder for me to get out of one.

first Tesla Y

Saw my first one of these (not my photo, but just like it) in Kingston, Ontario yesterday.

Notes:

1) It had a neat Jetson-y pedestrian warning warble when in reverse that seemed to change pitch with speed.

2) The driver couldn't accurately back into a parking space to save his life. Or maybe the car was doing it? Either way: fail!

The more I look at it the more it looks like something the Teletubbies would drive around in.

It will be the same as with the Model 3's over here: once you've seen them 2,000 times they become a thing of their own, like a reference rather that weird in any way.

Probably it's an attempt to have the average Joe looking at the lack of a grille as somewhat normal.
