Wow - very nice!

There's some anecdotale crossover between gen. 1 Insight owners buying Nissan Leafs, too. I know of two.

I drove behind an I3 yesterday on the highway. From that perspective you can see that the sides taper in strongly, especially cause the sides were white and the rear end is black.

So although the rear looks boxy it follows the template - sideways

Saw this coming up behind me, so I slowed until I could get a pic. He turned right at the light, I went straight 1 block to another light which was green, so I turned left. But to my right, waiting for that light, was a SILVER MODEL S. TWO IN ONE BLOCK.

I also noticed in Onalaska WI by Home Depot there is a Tesla charging station with 6 or 8 "pods". So now I know where they spawn from.

Also, check out the license plate of this red one... AMPED UP

I stopped by the Lemay Museum in Tacoma again this past weekend, and noticed some interesting aerodynamic features:

Nice solid wheel, not on a car you would expect:

How about this radiator shroud?

1954 Lincoln Capri!

1986 Owasso Pulse, claimed 100 mpg:

And, the Jetta Hybrid LSR car:

The class it ran does not allow modifications to the body, so no airdam, spoiler, or grill blocks:

But it still managed a 187-mph run on 300hp+electric motor. VW claims Cd .28 for the stock hybrid, but I can't find a number for this car.

The 1986 Owasso Pulse wasn't there when I got to visit that museum. Well worth the time spent to go see the museum.

And, they've changed the cars in the "Alternative Propulsion" exhibit since it opened--there used to be an EV1, GM Impact, Volt, and Leaf on display. Now they have a BMW i3, the Jetta LSR, two solar cars, and a Prius.

A big air dam up front?

Or do you mean the small Kammback type spoiler on the hatch? That's actually OEM. Part of the reason the car has a 0.28 Cd (says the company).
