I used to see them on a daily basis to and from work, white, black, brown and even a blue one once. Idk. Rich Cali kids maybe?

Have never seen a Volt. Haven't gone to the dealer to see one; haven't seen one on the road. Must be Texas...

I saw a BMW i8 last week, but it was too fast to be caught on camera.

Chevy sold a rebadged version of the Renault Trafic van in my country in the 90s. Front-wheel drive, with a 5-speed manual and a 4-cyl gasser, and an optional IDI Diesel. Its capacities are comparable to a Chevy Express 1500.

An earlier one badged as Renault and registered in Argentina, with the 2.1L naturally-aspirated Diesel which was also used in the Jeep Cherokee in a turbocharged version and in some Winnebago camper vans.

Another Renault, with the updated front clip

I like old import wagons. I like 4x4s. In 2001, the girl I was dating at the time was looking for a car. I found this in an estate. It took me 3 months to get. In 2001 it had 62000 kms (38500 miles). 1987 Toyota Tercel 4x4 wagon. Last week I picked it up to fix a tire on it for her, and you can see the massive amount of mileage she has put on it in the last 13 years.

She walks to work and drives it once or twice a week, it sits in an underground parkade out of the weather the rest of the time. No rust, all she has done in the last 13 years is a muffler and a battery. Tires are still 70%, brakes are mint, thing drives like a new car, and the interior is like new. Needless to say sometimes I wish I had kept it for myself, but I am the top of the list for "If you ever want to sell it..." and sadly, it's an automatic. 4:10 final drive with 13 inch tires and no overdrive! But man these cars are amazing in the snow! She got a promotion at work and asked me what a Pontiac Solstice is worth, I am sensing the time may be coming near for it to change hands!

I remember riding in one of those when it was new. It has an asymmetrical rear license plate, right?

Good luck.

That's so funny. I test-drove an old 4x4 Tercel wagon once. Had it not blown the head gasket on the test drive, I would've bought it!

I heard someone use the term "autotragic" once, I think it applies in this case. I would have to own it though, just out of principle, and I don't think anyone would blame me!

Renault Kangoo, still one of my favorite cars from late-90s.

Narrower and shorter than the average soccer-mom van, but still very practical.
This one specifically, despite being made in Argentina, has the smaller 1.0L engine available only in Brazil and Uruguay.
