Thought I had something to post up, but I can't find my memory chip from going to Catalina Island. I was going nuts shooting everything on the streets! Today I figured, "well I'll just get some post off the net to give a little bit of a taste." WRONG! There's practically nothing on the net when searching "Catalina Island vehicles". It's far more than golf carts. I was passing up on them and shooting stuff like these,
Hmmmm....... pics aren't showing up..........

Even these weren't that easy to find. I'll run across that chip sooner or later.

From an exotic Honda Beat back down to earth with a thump, I give you a 1994 Cavalier! 157k KMs (97k miles), but at least it's the base 4 cylinder with a 5 speed. For a car with KMs that low, this thing is rough. I'd usually want to save it from the scrap guy as it's selling unreserved tomorrow, but in this case I don't. Hopefully someone else saves it.

Hi User1,

You copied the web page address in the IMG link, but the IMG link cannot show web pages - just bare pictures.
If you right-click on the image itself and choose 'Copy image URL' (or whatever it is, my browser words it in Dutch) then you can paste that in the IMG links, like this.

(your first)

(your second)

(the last 2)

(the last 2 pictures were the same)

If you hit the (edit)Quote button you'll see the BBC code of this post.

You're welcome.
I've seen a lot of those on Gomera and other islands, they are ideal for those badly paved, narrow and twisting mountain roads and villages with crazy tight corners.

Nice! I also have a weak spot for these cars. And I don't get why people change the wheels on these, though. The stock alloys (in different F/R sizes, even) looked great.

It's hard to hate a Honda Beat. Probably why I dig my Del Sol, pretty much the closest thing we got to them in North America. Except it's not even close really!

'90s gas powered VWs are not a car I like, but this one was pretty cool. 1990 Golf with only 86k KMs (53k miles), and it has a 3rd pedal.
