I would have liked to have heard more about the legendary 2:1 rearend. An axle like that would have my truck motoring down the road at 1300rpm, give or take. My fuel mileage would go sky-high!

I suppose if you establish a baseline with four flat tires and drag a huge anchor, it makes your "improvements" look that much better.

Well, it should, as it does.

Adding LPG or CNG to diesel helps - more than the displaced fuel "should" help.
So it's also contributing to better combustion of the original diesel fuel ...
Burns less diesel, and burns it cleaner as well.

Same's been done by adding H2 to petrol.
It's just not efficient to generate it on-board.

Right, but the context of my post was that adding gas vapors to a stock engine, with no other modifications, doesn't make sense. How will the stock computer compensate for it? Will the oxygen sensor even know there are other types of fuel being burnt in the cylinder?

Can the O2 sensor tell that there is H2 being burnt in the cylinder??
