Epoxy is not glue, my friend. I feel like there's a negative tone to your posts, as well.
Just because someone doesn't like your idea, doesn't mean you should be offended, if that's the case.
Do you have any idea how many times people have shot down something I had to say? It doesn't affect me because it's their project. Let him do it the way he wants. The only thing you can hope to do is provide input and expect that someday, someone will see it your way.
If I'm reading your posts incorrectly, please, by all means, let me know.

no sweat, christ. i'm not bothered at all. d: i can see some of my comments could appear terse, but i suppose i could add a few additional key strokes to show i'm smiling.
i don't want to affect any moral. (:
EDIT: ah, the epoxy comment was about caulk being calle glue, not me calling epoxy glue.

Like I said, if I was reading into it too far, I apologize. We just like to keep it civil here, ya know?

15" Volvo wheel
+ 16" pizza pan
= perfect fit
Now just need to drill a hole for the valve stem and figure out the way to mount it. I'm thinking clips that stick between the rim and the tire like wheel weights.

those look nice. don't drill any holes, other than the valve stem.
you may have to bend your own clips... or use another substance.

I'm actually pressing in the pizza pan against the valve stem to keep it in place. The valve stem is too long. I have to drill the hole plus I want easy access to check tire pressure. It'll be the size of a dime.

hey that guitarguy could you drill holes thru your allow rims and thrubolt the pan possibly using spacers of correct depth so as to not distort the pan when tightened? maybe do 4 at midpoint or 6 closer to the edges, it would only have a small screwhead or washer showing on the pan side, you could mount nuts on the innerside of the rim with epoxy? maybe wont work just theowin it out there.
