I don't measure as such, regular driving variables do not permit this but the bonnet and bumper reduce net drag by .98%, 3.1% if all non-negative pressure areas were covered

Here in the uk, I use easycomposites, in bulk I find it's good value for money and they also stock the 200g glass in a cloth fabric where most just have woven roving

....a couple of very good results when computers were still in the car I found on my phone. I don't recall the driving enviroments, most likely extra urban and above mean 25c. They should thermally isolate the batteries in cold climates

next year I hope to make the undertray. The guy at the mot says I can't change the roof so I will make a dimpled skin for it and a cf rear hatch, aramid rear bumper and various brackets. I will also try structuring more and unidirectional carbon on unseen parts, it most likely will go round corners and hand lay easier. I found vacuum takes longer and goes wrong

And an aramid dash and door cards if there's time

Have a great xmas everyone

Here is part of a tubular racking system made from aramid kevlar/carbon. Once cured it is very strong and light. I was planning a car respray next week but I will miss the roof and fabricate a multiple vortice skin (dimpled) for it. Early in the spring. Also next week the splitter will be cut off

It is UK gallon measure, miles are the same. Making a 0w18 oil this week, I doubt the difference will be measureable

the car is much improved since then

hey guys, (and gals if theres any cute ones). Just checking in, the buncemobile at the new digs and some tools I made from a new light material. It's similar to cf, slightly less flex modulus but lighter and higher mpa. I made a 1 inch square bracket for the bumper and it held in a flood. The oxalic acid helps ;0)

It's gonna get a proper respray in autumn and a dimpled roof then next year a flat floor and hopefully some cf and kevlar wheels. Will keep you posted you crazy cats!!
