8 years ago I considered stripping a leaf plus I had electric included in the rent.

I think it would have to be multiple portable units, I prefer NiMH so would be very heavy

If you had used one li would have probably done it, or garaging your car/not defrosting possibly, radio off and stay on dipped but you likely tried that. Sometimes it takes a few days for changes to show up

I kept figuring out how to make the castors lighter and tried this. It worked well. They're still too strong and heavy for purpose but I didn't have time to make any

Only around 110g but it's the highest part. I think I will make a small portable lathe from a bench grinder

Also making extended feet. Around 350gsm with wooden kebab skewers inside. Not as strong as the chassis tie, about half, and should put the working height up 9-10 inches. Mixing time with epoxy seems more important than ratio, in my experience so far

80 new 6061 t6 M6 but 12mm this so there's more thread with a washer and a new radiator sensor. Will do strength tests next week

Not alot going on. To start the test, I set the torque wrench to 60mn it's lowest setting and used a regular non carbon steel bolt as a starting point but the thread pulled before 60 so I've ordered a much smaller wrench....

Also soon I will order some material for my rear exhaust box that I plan to rivet and braze. When I get time....

Also the last bolt is threaded rod, I read once it's stronger than cut bolts because the rod is rolled, but who knows until I break it...

And the material I'm ordering is aerospace stuff unusual for exhausts....

Premium does not necessarily contain less ethanol.

Oil pan posted a video in his leaf pusher thread that you may find interesting. It also shows how to test ethanol content.

That is true in detail but in the UK tests show the worst premium fuel contained 8%. None had less than 5

By adding ro or deionized water, shaking and letting rest you can filter it but I don't have time. Also by the time valve heads and piston surface are sufficiently degraded my bearings will all need replaced



My brake lines are ok at the moment but has anyone experience of aluminum lines used on airplanes? I can get 1800 psi stuff and it's used the same way as copper, just not 8gcm

Unless the alum lines are really cheap and anodized, I wouldnt use them. Aircraft don't: operate in salty environs, have dissimilar metals to attach stuff, dont use alcohol based water attracting fluids they use mil spec hydraulic oil.
