The 90-91 Cluster hood is a bit taller, rounder.. I'll see if I have one.

Thanks for the tips. I'm sure I'll be fine. I'll complain about what I do wrong when I have the welder.
Also, the CRX is a 91, so I already have the rounded hood. The Insight cluster is just taller than the previous integra cluster I was using.

K, I won't look then... I might have a DelSol hood, if you want me to check for that...

BANG! Just blew your mind....
It's amazing what can be made to work, especially when it's free, ain't it?
I'll check while I'm here at my Father's house, maybe I got it, maybe I don't.

NO, sir, not a lack of faith, just a joke.
Before you started, while you were doing research, you probably (I would imagine) thought to yourself: "How in the hell is that thing going to fit in there?"
Just like many before you thought the same, when doing first the B-swap, then the H-swap, then the K-swap, and, most recently, the J-swap.
Everytime, noone thought it would work, but some guy was out there in his shop figuring out WHY it wouldn't work, and MAKING it work...
Enter - You. You're that guy. I'm just not sure how, if you're going to do this, you could let yourself believe that the wrong cluster hood won't fit on your car. :P

Have you tried mounting the gauge cluster without the hood for now? Then make a hood for it later, after you've done the hard stuff...

That's the plan. I'll probably be driving around with no dash and a cluster ziptied to the steering column for a while.
I thought you meant the hood, not the cluster hood
Furthermore, based on the del sol cluster I own, I don't think the hood will help. I'll make due. Anyway, it might work out perfectly if robert smalls has a good answer for me.

How much paint do you think it'll take to do the engine bay?
Also, there was a place online I've seen to get mixed paint for the car, but I can't find it now. Anyone know what I'm thinking of?
