Ooops.
I don't have pictures. Do you want me to pull the engine out again for this task, Mr. Prostitute, sir?

Not necessary, because the whole idea is a long-shot anyway. If you pull the engine back out at any point in time, go ahead and snap a hook-shot of the backside, though, and I'll look into it.

Will do. The engine will need to come out to mess with the rear cross member and the side mount.
Also, I've been thinking, rather than making that crazy mount like in the kit a pictured for the rear, it might be easier to just welder straight to the crossmember? I don't see it getting in the way.
Furthermore, insight owners: what is the stock angle on the cluster like? I need to figut out what I'm going to do to hack the display into my cluster hood.

The Intermediate shafts came on DOHC ZC engines (D-series blocks) and some B-series, IIRC. The D-series blocks almost all have the bosses cast in, and it's been found that several of the other engine blocks that Honda makes have some bosses on them that are useable for a custom bracket to mount the Ishaft.
It's not a big deal, since it basically only limits torque steer.

Understood. You've been beyond helpful, thank you sir. I'll sleep soon, and in the morning I will try to do something useful again.

You can weld one side of the mount straight in, but you could also just not worry about that rear mount. Or, you could use that one, and forgo the front rad support mount.
Also, if you're intersted in tunable suspension/handling, and once you've got a welder, you can look into making your own front crossmember from tube stock, which saves weight and provides some nice suspension adjustments to account for high-speed scrub, which could save you tires and fuel at highway speeds.
More tonight/tomorrow morning, friend. I tire easily in my age, and my Son must feed.

There is no front mount on ECA (or the K series, for that matter), so it will indeed be the rear mount.
How much weight do you think a custom front crossmember could save? I wish I could do something to get rid of those damn bumper supports. Heavy things...

When I was researching welders, I found HarborFreight.com had better prices than the store itself, especially among welding accessories.
I decided not to buy a welder, so I can't make recommendations.
I can measure the gauge mounting angles after the sun comes up.

I still think the engine needs to slide closer to the drivers side by roughly an inch. In the picture of the "canted" axle, was the spindle mounted in the lower arm? It looks to me that the drivers side spindle may have been displaced back a bit. Another possibility is the engine is not quite straight, needing to move back on the drivers side too.
On to your welding question. I don't want to discourage you but welding really is a long term commitment to learning. First take some lessons at a local high school, this should include advise on what you'll need to buy/ where to get it. I'm in the same boat right now. Looking for a class, for my next big project that I will be posting about soon.
I would stay away from a 92-00 civic radiator. it will be too tall for your grill.
