Just stack some washers for the third bolt, to keep it from gaining leverage.

I was going to suggest a piece of aluminum square stock, but washers will work just as well.

Square stock was also my plan but I hadn't thought about how to size it well.
I think the insight radiator is a lost cause. I abused the crap out of it today to try to get it to seal up and it will not comply. O well, I'll try to fit in the big one or else buy an eg/ek radiator

Insight Radiator - I'd just use the OEM radiator... or will that be a clearance issue? I know the hoses are different, but that's not hard to fix, really.
Can I see a pic of whatever problem you were having w/ the OEM radiator originally?

Did you call that salvage yard with the insight? Maybe they have a good rad?
The welder and angle grinder are loaded up. I'm not bring all my stuff, just the basics in the hopes that you'll have everything else that might be needed. Hows your drill and drill bit situation? I hope you have some spare steel to practice on and enough to fabricate a couple mounts to get you started

Speaking of drill bits, I just picked up a coffee can full of assorted HSS bits for $5... there must be 200 bits in it. Man, I love yard sales.
Back to our original programming....

Drill bits are a lacking situation for me. I didn't really expect to need them. Also, I've no table vice. I can't seem to find a place with a good table for a vice, and no one I know has one, which seems strange.
Also, what was that place for steel stock in SJ? I'll drop by tomorrow morning.

It's late in the day now, so Home Depot or Lowes will due for assortments of steel plate. Otherwise, Fazios is the place. Probably an hour drive for you to get there. At HD you'll get one plate for 6 bucks, at Fazios you'll get a dozen for 6 bucks.
Guess I shoulda grabed my drill and bits? You got a hardware store near by?
I'll be leaving work around 3 and should be at your place around 4. I should be able to spend a few hours.
