Apply battery voltage to each of your CRX horns to determine which one sounds better. One is low tone, one is high tone. Take the one you like, and run one of its wires to ground (e.g. at the horn mounting bolt) and the other wire to the horn wire. I suspect horns are non-polar, but I could be wrong.

Sounds like a good plan, I'll get on that later.

He's right, you can run the CRX's horn off one wire, IIRC.
If not, there are several on the market that will fit your application quite easily, including the OEM Insight horn.

Pictures? I may be asking too much, you are rather busy...

You may with to upgrade this wire with a lower gauge to handle the additional amperage that will be traveling down it, if I'm not mistaken. Unless I misunderstood you, the high and low beams would be going though the same wire. I'm not sure if the high and low beams would be on at the same time for any appreciable amount of time, but if they were, that might just be too much for it. Just a thought.

The more things integrated, the more things that can break. Good thinking.

The Insight has a dual filament bulb, so there are both high and low beams from the same bulb. The CRX has two different bulbs, so one for high, one for low.
He took the Insight's harness and split the high/low power wires to use on the high/low bulbs in the CRX.
Ben, look up the mod for all-four-on highbeams. It's great.

Ben, I have to apologize, I got under that CRX I"ve had in the barn forever, and started to take the spindle off (the one that's still attached) and noticed that I couldn't spin it... the bearings are rusted tight, meaning you'd have to press the hubs and put new bearings in them, which makes it not worth it, honestly. I thought that I'd at least be able to get you one, but even the other one is damaged, (I have no idea if it happened in storage, moving the car, or what?) it has a crack in one of the splines that runs laterally through almost the whole hub.
I kinda feel like a douche now for offering them to you, then not being able to deliver. Sorry!!!

Don't be too hard on yourself - you helped me acquire a pretty much brand new set of front pads & rotors and a full set of nice tires on 13" rims for my XFi project. $72. It was a find for sure. And the car will have longer legs

Well, yeah, there's that. Still, I don't like offering things and not being able to deliver. I hate it when people back out on me, and i feel bad for doing it now. It just honestly wouldn't do any good to send them down, they'd be junk laying in the garage for Ben.

Well, I'll try to scrounge up some HF knuckles. It's only money, after all.
I got angry at my car today so I cut all the wiring out of the car. Hopefully it works out. I couldn't get the horn working so I'll do it later. I've never used the horn, but I do need it to pass inspection.
Any ideas where I can get a plug with 4 wires? I've got one plug half torn off, including the damnable pins, but no time to wait for the plug to show up in the mail from Fabio. Maybe I just just use individual male/female connectors, but I'd rather do something a bit cleaner. Suggestions? All the spare plugs I have are like 20 pin and not 4 pin. Do stores sell them?

4 pin molex connectors from any computer store. They'll have both the male and female ends. Or, you could use the 4 pin trailer plugs as well.
Again, sorry about the knuckles. I thought they were usable. Next time, I'll check before I mention anything about parts.
