.....was sculpted by a headwind after the fact........
No, not the case.
If you follow the link provided I wrote that we had a snow storm with a near constant 35 mph wind.
The snow just went around the truck like that.
I think this snow accumulation illustrates the built up attachent of air or pressure wave at the front of the truck.
You know, like when Aerohead says just ignore the front part of the Aero-Template, it's just built up air pressure for attachment of the latter part where drag forms.
Where there is no snow, the pressure bubble displaced or moved the snow before it could settle.
Or the velocity increased at the bow and carried the snow away.
My problem when trying to explain it comes to the whole pressure verses velocity thing. The pressure gets lowered when velocity goes up, right?
I don't want to overthink this. My brain just understands what's it is looking at, but the words fail me.

pressure/velocity
Every streamline filament is isoenergetic. They all contain identical energy as a function of pressure and velocity.
Daniel Bernoulli discovered that as the streamlines played over a body, that they might accelerate to a higher velocity/while simultaneously losing static pressure (as compared to the local barometric pressure measured at an aerodynamic 'infinity' distance),or visa versa;when decelerating after passing the body (barring any separation).
Any combination of velocity and pressure always added up to unity.
The snow phenomenon adds at least a magnitude of complexity, since the snow has a lot more mass/inertia than the air it's entrained in,allowing the air can go places where the snow can't without actually colliding with the obstruction, maybe adhering, maybe not.Powdery snow would easily erode, wetter snow might not.Melting and re-freezing would complicate the hell out of the situation.

No smoke, but it illustrates the pitfalls of tunnel blockage. O'course, I run less clearance under my car.

That ^^^is sexy...
I like the tail section of the green house how it blinds into the flat deck. Looks like the air wants to follow ... I'm curious if the rear would have lift or downforce[edit: without the wing]? Looks like downforce with that up turn at the end.

I'd reserve judgement until I acn see a little furhter up the rear end.
It's got the long tail but it's open on the bottom. Maybe it's a highly pitched diverter with skegs?
