I'm liking the car!

Any plans to paint it?

any plans for rear wheel skirts or maybe a kammback.

You didn't seem too fond of the boat tail

I like the air dam, I'm planning on doing basically the exact same thing. Any issues with how you did it? Is your's just screwed on? Any support required for the middle?

Fully plan on doing a fiberglass kammback, a la Blackfly. I liked the boat tail but although it was strong, it wasn't built to last. The MPG was great. It "worked" with the styling to my satisfaction. Maybe when I get a dedicated track car I can dedicate some time and money toward making the ultimate hypermiler. Until then, Ren is supposed to do both.

Rear wheel skirts I'm trying to figure out. Would like to have some if they blend in and are easy to put on and take off repeatedly. No duct tape. It was nearly impossible to get the rear tires off the Probe without damaging the skirts.

I actually took the front lip off, zip tied it to the lip, then put the lip back on the bumper. It's held on about halfway up the lip, so it doesn't really bend.

Oh right I forgot that your car has that extra lip, that's a good idea using it. Trying to figure out how I want to mount my air dam for mine.

You could try a junkyard. Apparently the lips came on coupes and VX's. Yours should have had one anyway (though not sure about Canada spec).

I just sold my 1981 VW Rabbit Convertible 5spd, Freja. She was my first car (aside from inheriting the truck). I bought her after graduating high school in 2008 and have had tons and tons of great memories. She was dead reliable, a riot to drive and overall the best car I've ever owned. Did I mention 36mpg? This post is just a heavy-hearted farewell to my favorite car.
