Thanks. I've got a stick-on blind spot mirror on the passenger side of the interior rear view mirror.

Swirls are going back on after I get the car aligned. (Did no one notice it got lowered?) Calling on Monday. I'm getting REALLY sick of daily driving my F100, between the gas costs and it being physically demanding to drive. Three on the tree, long travel clutch, manual 4 wheel drum brakes, manual steering, manual choke, atrocious handling.

Aligned @ Harold's Frame Shop in Novi

bought some THICK coroplast scrap at Laird Plastics in Warren ($10 for a big piece) to mock up a rear wheel skirt. I think I'll end up getting some nice solid sheet to do it for real, though. I've thought of a way to attach it- now it's only to buy some crap and work.

Is now lighthouseLOL

and aero more on front

I GETS MORE PICTAR LATR

(Hoping this will discourage people from tailgating and get them to move left and pass me sooner. I'm driving 55mph on the freeways now)

((It's white Plasti-dip- probably about six coats of it))

(((If you do this be sure to lightly score along the tape line so the tape doesn't peel the 'dip off when you remove the mask)))

I predict it will not have the intended effect.

Yeah, but it looks pretty cool. I like the materials choice too. Interesting news to me.

Haha, it seems people pass me more easily, though there still is the odd one who slams on his brakes and rides my ass for a mile before moving left, smashing the gas and speeding by. On the whole, I like it and think I'll keep it.

Did some ghetto-roaming today, but didn't really get Civic pics until the end. This is off Michigan Avenue (on the West side of Detroit) near the famous ruins of Michigan Central Station.

You can kind of see the new-and-improved grille blocks painted with plasti-dip. Rad is about half closed off now, with about 1/4 of the grille exposed.

Testing out Ipernity's linking capabilities... I quit Flickr after the fiasco.

I was at a stop light in the ghetto (Conner north of Jefferson) when a dude in a panel van had me roll down my window. I turned down the p-funk and he said, "Your wheels are hypnotizin' me!" I said, "Good! Haha" and drove off.

Always a party.

I think this photo is poetic: a ruined train station in the motor city and a worn and assertive US built Japanese model automobile. What a trial and transition we are living through.

It looks very wizard of Oz. Ruby slippers and the witches curled up feet.
