ChristophR - we upgraded software 2 days ago. I'll contact the vendor as it's likely related.
---
And just a note: Ben and I may not respond to every note posted in this thread, but we do read it. And we do have excessively long to-do lists to which we add reported problems.
Chipping away at things...

ChristophR, can you tell me what thread that link you posted *should* have linked to? There doesn't seem to be any identifying thread info (ID) in the link you posted. Thanks.

Removed a few.
A garage / ranking overhaul is also on the unmanageable to-do list

Thank you,

This resolved itself - I don't believe members with fewer than 10 posts had permission to post polls.

Google Reader Summarized view:
Coked up inlet manifold
Forum: Forum News & Feedback Posted By: ted frater Post Time: 01-03-2011 at 03:29 PM
Goes to this link:
http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...=Google+Reader
Which gives that aformentioned "Alert", but should really go to this thread here:
http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...old-15661.html
If I recall, this was one of the first non-working threads I remember not being able to follow through via Google's RSS reader.
Hope that helps more, but as offered before, ask for more info, and I'll dig deeper.

Just to clarify: none of the recent links you're given via Google Reader are working? Or is it just some from a few days back?

ChristophR - can you walk me through how you set up Google Reader to subscribe to the forum? Is it the entire forum, or just selected subforums?

It's the entire forum, I just followed the link that was provided for RSS well over a year ago on here... erm, so my exact recollection is sketchy -- I'll dig in and figure it out if you need it further.
(Found it... used the RSS link in the URL box in the browser, and I used the entire forum, not a subforum RSS. I just added it in the appropriate field in Google Reader, and it subscribed me to the feed thereafter.)
http://ecomodder.com/forum/external.php?type=RSS2
However, I don't think you'll need that per se:
I did check back and there was a point in time where the RSS feed did work, and then did not, so I'll post the summaries with times, and the links:
Working:

Nonworking from this date onward:
the flywheel test (switched to 2 kg / 4.4 lbs lighter flywheel)

The post date WAS after the date of the working one in the summary... so there's a date-time offset somehow muddled up with the server or software... somewhere. When I reviewed over the others, they're similar to this, all set much earlier in date than they really are. Times are fixed now for the past day it seems, but despite that, those posts will not come up as they ought to be.
I'm not sure at first look if the posts are adjusted to my timezone, or not, but mine is Easter Standard Time, if you need to make adjustments to compare to server time.
