KITT: a workaround for the problem may be to use the "Post Reply" button rather than the "Quick Reply" box to avoid the "hang".
It appears to be a problem with FireFox & some of the AJAX code in vB. Sorting it out.

ChrstphrR - thanks for the detailed info. Very helpful & I'm looking into this with the software support people.

Quick reply button does not work properly. If I write a quick reply and push send this will send the message but it starts to download etc somethin and will never go back to original post.
I have to write ecomodder.com/forum if I want to see more...
I think it started doing that when I set up my signature was it last week :/.
I am using firefox.

As Darin already mentioned, the solution is to use Post Reply v. Quick Reply.
Firefox (only) has some issue and hangs at times. Hopefully a fix for this will come from whatever source, as it is a conflict between the forum code and Firefox and more or less out of our hands.
So, in conclusion:
- Use Post Reply
- Use Chrome
Sorry for the trouble!

ChrstphrR: RSS is fixed. Could you confirm it works for you? Thanks.

Yes, confirmed that it works now here - sorry, I'd been avoiding using the RSS reader for Ecomodder the last few days as my own little workaround.

Yeah. I use Firefox and have the same situation. I think it only hangs on "Quick Reply". "Quote" seems to take a while but I only tested that one time.

I believe the Firefox "quick reply" bug is now fixed.
If you guys (KITT, vekke, Bruce) would let me know if it's OK for you, I'd appreciate it.
